Rational Muslims in Russia and the post-Soviet space are well aware of the nature and history of this country’s relationship with Islam and its adherents. However, the Kremlin continues to propagate its message worldwide, including portraying Russia as a friend of Islam and Muslims.
In such a situation, it is crucial to publish materials that open the eyes of our co-religionists intoxicated by Kremlin propaganda to Russia’s real attitude towards Islam and Muslims. Therefore, the Center for the Study of Islamophobia has timely published the report «Russian Islamophobia: From the Medieval Kingdom to the Post-Soviet Era» in English, the title of which gives an understanding of its contents.
