In Dzerzhinsk, the explosion at the production plant of the state enterprise «Krystal» became a disaster for the entire city. Almost half of the buildings had their windows shattered, 30 schools and 70 kindergartens were damaged, about 90 people were reported injured, but doctors predict that the number of injured will increase.
The company «Krystal» is involved in «scientific-technical and technological support of work in the field of explosive compositions for the Russian military industry». More specifically, according to Interfax, there were aircraft bombs in the exploded workshop.
It should be noted that, according to the White Helmets rescue organization, this month alone in the Syrian province of Idlib, the Russian Aerospace Forces bombed 22 medical facilities, 6 civil defense centers, 29 schools and 5 markets. According to the Union of Medical Organizations and Relief Agencies (UOSSM), 229 civilians have been killed and 727 injured during a month of intensified bombardment of the region by the Assad regime and its ally Russia. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, nine of the 21 killed in several towns in Idlib province and rural areas of neighboring Aleppo were children.
