The recently revived (!) Professor Roman Silantyev, who has been living on the state dole (as a reminder of how he became one, https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=29871), has recently appeared before the public in a new role — that of an eminent scientist. Now he is a leading expert in a new «field of knowledge» — conflictology and even, forgive me, destructology, which he teaches in his makeshift office at the Moscow State Linguistic University.
However, as with any power-wielding «scientist» in Putin’s Russia, epaulettes usually peek out from under the professorial robe, or a red card indicating his departmental affiliation is kept in his pocket, and our «specialist» is no exception. Moreover, according to his own words. In a «conversation» with Interfax (the religious department, which he has long supervised), Silantyev admitted that he «actually gives lectures on destructology to employees of special services and prepares expert opinions on terrorist organizations» (https://www.interfax.ru/russia/685440). We never doubted this, but such an admission will be very useful for future court proceedings.
This «professor» once stated: «At present, up to 700,000 Islamists of various degrees of activity live in Russia… It is necessary to tighten legislation and stop thinking that something can be solved peacefully and through agreements. We must simply destroy them. And as we have shown, this call began to be actively implemented (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=31080). Can this be considered a coincidence? It was possible, because the presumption of innocence has never been abolished, and Silantyev could have claimed until now that he was a private person, not connected with the special services, and if he had blurted out something unnecessary, it could at most be qualified as incitement, and nothing more. Now, however, this person openly admits that he acts as a strategist for the special services in the fight against dissenters, for whom he provides pseudo-scientific justifications for declaring them «destructive elements» and «extremists». And this means that when it is established and proven who is behind all these killings, the questions put to him will be of a different nature.
