It is well known that the real reason for the Kremlin’s war against Ukraine, which is not understood or deliberately concealed by the «Muslims of the Moscow Patriarchate,» is that Putin considers Ukrainians to be rebellious Russians and sees Ukraine as a part of Russia that must be returned to the «Russian world.
That is why Chechens, Dagestanis, Tatars, Bashkirs and others are dying. In turn, Ukrainians consider their country as Russia and Russia as Moscow, Moksha, Horde, and so on.
We are not going to get into these disputes now, but we will simply state that from whichever side we look at it, the «gatherer of Russian lands» that Putin dreamed of becoming is now, in fact… Recep Tayyip Erdogan. After all, the result of Putin’s «geopolitical genius» is that the Turks are now reconciling Russians and Ukrainians, and the Russian and Ukrainian delegations are forced to gather for peace negotiations in Istanbul to listen to the Turkish leader and applaud him for his efforts to reconcile those whom Putin considers «one people».
In reality, these negotiations are far from being a real peace. Nothing has been signed yet, the war continues, and it is clear that the terms of a sustainable ceasefire will be determined on the battlefields in the coming weeks (in any case, talking about a full-fledged peace is out of the question until there is a change of power in Russia).
But we will not be surprised if, as a result of such a ceasefire, Turkish politicians, diplomats and even Turkish military forces, namely peacekeepers, will be involved in the agreements between Russians and Ukrainians. And why? Because Ukraine will insist on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territories captured after February 24, and Russia is clearly not ready to return them to Ukrainian control.
One way to solve this problem could be to transfer control of these territories to the Ukrainian authorities, with the condition that Ukrainian forces do not enter, and instead peacekeeping forces are deployed that are capable of controlling both sides. And what peacekeeping forces can organize both sides now, besides the forces of the new «collector of Russian lands»?
