Did a madman — a Putin fan — organize the terrorist attack in Kerch?

Today’s terrorist attack in Kerch can be considered a new milestone in the development of terrorism in Russia. An explosion occurred in the food technology college, resulting in the death of its students. At first it was thought that the explosion was the result of a gas leak, but it soon became known that there had also been gunfire in the college. It was later announced that 17 people had been killed and over 40 injured (at the moment). Reports from «eyewitnesses» began to emerge claiming that an armed group had attempted to seize the educational institution. However, it was later determined that the perpetrator had acted alone.

So who was this terrorist? Since the incident took place in Crimea, which has been annexed by Ukraine and where Muslims also face repression, many immediately thought of «Banderites» or «Islamists. However, the terrorist turned out to be an ordinary Russian named Vladislav Roslyakov, a student at the same college, who eventually took his own life after committing the massacre. Although «ordinary» is how the pro-government propagandists and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation portrayed him, quickly changing the initial criminal charge from «terrorism» to «mass murder.

Eyewitnesses immediately began to share information that Roslyakov was obsessed with serial killers, particularly Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold (one of whom is pictured above standing next to him), who carried out the massacre at Columbine High School in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. Well, it happens — this is the youth of today, this is society — an excess of information, lack of guidance, stress and psychosis.

But what else was Roslyakov interested in before he became obsessed with Harris and Klebold? According to the content of his Vkontakte page, it turns out that he was previously interested in other madmen fighting for the «Russian world», «Novorossiya», and also personally supported President Vladimir Putin. Of course, one could argue that all this happened in distant 2014, but now it is already 2018.

However, an interesting question arises — when the terrorist attack happened, everyone initially thought it was some Ukrainian or Crimean Tatar who decided to vent his hatred of the current reality in Crimea on innocent people. But as it turned out, this young man living in Ukraine was a supporter of the «Russian world» and Putin, and when they became a part of his reality four years later, he developed such hatred towards his fellow citizens, compatriots and classmates that he began to kill them.

«A coincidence? I don’t think so…»
