On this day, an excellent guerrilla political action took place in Moscow under the leadership of immigrant telegram channels. First of all, we are talking about the telegram channel «Morning of Dagestan», the link to which and the reposting of its materials we have repeatedly shared and made.
In particular, during the festive Muslim processions to or from the place of prayer, individuals supporting the action shouted «Takbir!» into the crowd, to which the crowd responded with «Allahu Akbar!». Let us be realistic — the majority of those chanting probably had no knowledge of any specific action and probably did not attribute any political meaning to it. Their response was similar to Christians responding to Easter with «Christ is risen».
But in this case it does not matter, because the mere fact of the chanting of Takbir in orderly lines and in large groups of Muslims deeply shocked the Russophiles. Dozens of videos appeared on the Internet from the windows of communal apartments inhabited by peasants who had migrated to Moscow and considered themselves true Muscovites, with comments such as, «Why should we tolerate this in MAAscow? Did they conquer us?» No, they have not conquered you, unfortunately.
However, now you are beginning to reap what you have sown by annexing numerous Muslim lands and peoples to your empire, as well as your stupidity, manifested in your refusal to allow the construction of mosques in a city like this, which would have distributed the worshipers among them instead of having them accumulate in a few places.
Numerous «right-wing» organizations also revealed their rat-like nature — the same ones that recently organized «popular rallies» against the construction of a mosque at the «holy lake». Positioning themselves as «independent patriots» and the «voice of civil society» influencing the authorities, when they encountered a spontaneous Muslim expression of civil society, they had nothing better to do than to complain to the law enforcement officials about an «unauthorized procession» and «extremist slogans».
And this clearly demonstrated what we have been writing about for years — Muslims in Russia do not need a «strong hand» that protects these Islamophobic organizations but hinders any grassroots self-organization and socio-political activities of Muslims. What they need is social and political freedom and competition that would quickly put everything in its place and demonstrate the value of each party, whether on the streets of the cities or in free elections.
And now some statistics. According to the Main Directorate for Internal Affairs, about 400,000 Muslim worshippers gathered in various places during this holiday, and the entire Russian-speaking Internet was buzzing with this number. According to the Moscow government, over 600,000 Orthodox Christians attended various churches on Easter, but there was no mention of this in the information space.
Therefore, there are two possibilities — either the Moscow government deliberately exaggerates the number of Orthodox believers in order to present their majority over Muslims for the sake of appearances, or due to the existence of numerous Orthodox churches in Moscow, they are easily distributed among them and no accumulations occur, which confirms the correctness of those who argue that the construction of numerous mosques (equal in number to Orthodox churches) would benefit the entire city.
But in any case, even if we take the official ratio of 600,000 Orthodox believers to 400,000 Muslim believers, it clearly shows that Orthodox Moscow in our time is a myth, and in reality it is a city of both Orthodox Christians and Muslims.
Although, of course, most likely these 600 thousand Orthodox in churches are fake, and in reality Moscow is more Muslim than Orthodox in religious terms. All this does not negate what we have said many times — do not naively believe that demography alone will put everything in its place.
On the contrary, this action has clearly shown that demographics are only taken into account when they become political. And let this time be a rather successful trolling of the «rashis», but it showed everyone well in which direction we have to move if we want Muslims to be taken into account in this prison of nations.
