How did the Uzbek neophyte suffer for the «Russian world»?

Ruslan Zhumanazarovich Babadzhanov (pictured), a citizen of Uzbekistan, detained by the Russian authorities at the request of Interpol, has every chance of being extradited to his homeland and facing up to 10 years in prison for participating in armed conflicts abroad.

However, not in the name of exalting the word of Allah and protecting oppressed Muslims, but in the name of promoting the «Russian world» and protecting the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine from evil «banderovtsy» who allegedly crucify Russian boys.

For this purpose he went to south-eastern Ukraine in 2014. However, he found simple fighting boring, and he actively started giving interviews as an exotic defender of the «Russian world».

This got him into trouble — he attracted the attention of the Ukrainian monitoring base «Peacemaker», after which the Ukrainian authorities provided information about him to the Uzbek authorities, who opened a criminal case against him and put him on the Interpol wanted list.

Now Russia, with which he seems to be closely connected, according to his interviews, is preparing to extradite him to Uzbekistan, the country of his citizenship, where he went to fight for its interests. By the way, Ruslan Zhumanazarovich is an Orthodox Christian, on the basis of which he considers himself Russian. And he went to Donbass with the blessing of a certain Father Sergey.

It is worth noting that not long ago the Russian General Matovnikov, who oversees the Caucasus region, stated that the increase in the number of neophytes is alarming, because such people later take up arms. The case of Babadzhanov confirms this hypothesis, especially considering that, according to his interviews, there was some involvement of ethnic Muslims in his detachment in Donbass.

In this regard, the question arises — isn’t it time for the Russian security forces to pay attention to «ethnic Muslims» who convert to Orthodoxy and the various priests who recruit them for war?
