The process of degradation of the Russian army is already underway, although let’s not deceive ourselves — for it to become irreversible, it still needs to suffer significant and painful defeats in Ukraine. However, Russian chauvinists are already complaining that the authorities of some republics are starting to stand up for their mobilized soldiers at the insistence of their relatives, complaining that the authorities of the «Russian regions» cannot do this. This happened this month when mobilized soldiers from Tatarstan were sent back to their units after complaining that they were being used as cannon fodder without training, weapons and other equipment. Earlier, the Tuva authorities had stood up for their mobilized soldiers who were being beaten and humiliated in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic.
It should be noted that, unfortunately, not everything is as optimistic as Russian chauvinists present it, because the majority of people from the republics, including Muslims, obediently go to the slaughter for the sake of Russian peace. A recent example of this is the defeat of the Tatarstan battalion «Alga» near Ugledar (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=41409). However, against this background, those who survived and do not want to repeat their fate in individual cases begin to complain more actively, their relatives and loved ones make noise in their republics, and their authorities, fearing the dissatisfaction of their people, begin to stand up for them before the Russian military leadership. And the Russian authorities, fearing that the republics will rock the boat, give instructions in such cases to listen to their authorities.
This illustrates once again what we write time and again — the Russian government only takes into account those who can cause problems for it. Moreover, it knows that Muslims and other «non-Russians» will do it faster than us, and we urge them to use this to their own advantage. And the more discontent and protests there are among those who refuse to be mobilized or among the relatives of those who have already been mobilized, and the more their neighbors, compatriots, etc., are involved in this, the more chances there will be to save them from this war.
As for the fact that the Russian government ignores the feeble protests of the inhabitants of the «Russian regions,» they have only themselves to blame. That is why they put the burden of being the «nation-state forming people» on the shoulders of the Russians, so that they obediently endure all hardships and losses in its name, as they have been taught to do throughout history. As the Russian proverb goes, «If you call yourself a mushroom, crawl into the basket». And if the inhabitants of these faceless «Russian regions» don’t like it, they can try to create their own republics there, capable of resisting Moscow.
