The arrest of the senator from Karachay-Cherkessia, Rauf Arashukov (pictured above), right in the building of the Federation Council, after the emergency closed-door meeting from which he tried to escape, became a spectacular show and almost the main news of recent days. The senator was accused of heading a sophisticated criminal network responsible for the large-scale theft of gas worth billions of rubles, as well as several contract killings, including the leader of the Adyghe-Khasa movement, Aslan Zhukov, in 2010, and the adviser to the president of Karachay-Cherkessia, Fraly Shebzukhov.
There is no doubt that the security forces have long had the necessary materials to organize such a show against Arashukov. Moreover, for those who have any illusions about this, it should be known that there are no individuals in the ruling circles of Russia who have not committed actions that could be used to «close» them. The question is only the scale of their actions, which in this case were moderate by the standards of the Russian elite. Therefore, the main question is why such a decision was taken just now, and why Arashukov was not so lucky?
For those who follow the relevant news, which today includes numerous leaks from the media of the security forces and competing intra-elite groups, it is obvious that a mechanism of «purges» has recently been launched among them. However, only a very naive person can think that this is being done for the sake of fighting corruption — no, in the face of the crisis and sanctions, their food base is shrinking and they have to throw overboard unnecessary eaters, ballast. «Die today and I will die tomorrow» — this is the motto of those who have no intention of creating independent courts, honest law enforcement structures based on the rule of law, an efficient economy, education, health care and social protection. The only thing that interests them today is the preservation of their gravy train, which they are currently doing in two ways: by reducing the expenses of the economically unprofitable population (hence their regular shameless revelations in the style of «no one asked you to give birth») and by taking assets from their less fortunate colleagues in the field.
For example, according to rumors, it was decided to write off Arashukov because he crossed the line with the Kremlin’s main representative in the Caucasus, Alexander Matovnikov, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller. It is reported that the decision to hold the show right in the Federation Council was personally sanctioned by the Chairman of the Board of CJSC «Russian Federation», Vladimir Putin, after receiving a corresponding report from the head of his security service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov. It is especially interesting to know what exactly prompted the chief manager of CJSC «RF» to organize such a show, according to information from various insiders.
And it was not the embezzlement of some unfortunate billions of rubles (it happens to everyone), or even the unauthorized killing of little-known public figures in the Kremlin (as if not many of them were killed with the appropriate sanction), but the accusation of treason against the state. In particular, it is reported that this Kremlin loyalist, who was photographed against the backdrop of portraits of Putin and with a St. George’s ribbon on the Soviet WWII uniform, is suspected of planning to create a «Greater Circassia» (based on his contacts with the authorities of the United Arab Emirates!) and of passing confidential information on the movement of gray Kremlin assets to CIA employees. And if this is true, one can say that the senator got off easy for now — after all, they could have shot him somewhere near the Kremlin, as they did with Boris Nemtsov for providing Americans with information about the business of the international Kremlin cartel. Of course, we will never know whether or not Arashukov actually provided information to the Americans, although talk of his plans to create a «Great Circassia» can only provoke a smile. But such provocations themselves indicate that in the midst of the crisis, the ruling group’s panicky fear of betrayal within its own ranks is growing, which, as in Stalin’s time, will lead to an acceleration of the self-destruction of its apparatus (inshallah).
Another piece of news that immediately preceded Arashukov’s arrest was the scandal surrounding the figure of the deputy head of JSC «Rosgeologia,» Ruslan Izrailevich Goring, born Ruslan Magomedovich Ganizhev (pictured below), who was fired after the publication of video recordings of his, to put it mildly, indecent behavior at work. How Ganizhev became Goring, and Magomed’s son became Israel’s son, is certainly a question that raises thoughts about the hierarchy in inter-ethnic relations when advancing through the state corporate service in Russia. One thing is certain — judging by Goring-Ganizhev’s behavior, the transformation was successful, as there are no traces of Islamic practices left in him. Successful, but not completely. Even though Magomed’s son became Israel’s son on paper, and his disciplinary action was presented to the consumers of media noodles as a disciplinary action against Ganizhev, an Ingush and a Caucasian. The same accents were used in the coverage of the news of Arashukov’s arrest — from the accusations of his plans to create a «Greater Circassia» to the glee at the fact that he requested a court interpreter, citing a lack of knowledge of the Russian language.
The conclusion is that you can wear Georgiev ribbons against the backdrop of Putin’s portrait or give up your father’s name, but when the system needs to get rid of another burden in your person, you will be presented as a hidden fighter for the cause of Greater Circassia or cunningly disguised as a Jew of Ingush origin.
