Russian mercenaries from the Wagner PMC, fighting in Libya in support of rebel leader Khalifa Haftar, desecrated and set fire to the Niffati Mosque in Ain Zara, south of Tripoli, before retreating from government forces. Riffraff scratched the inscription on the wall of the destroyed mosque: «I see mosques on Russian land, but it would be better to see them in hellfire,» Nazi abbreviations and slogans such as «14/88,» «White Power,» and the St. Petersburg Ultras slogan: «There is no black in the colors of Zenit».
These are the kind of people, or rather inhuman beings, who fulfill their international duties in another Muslim country. Of course, there are many bastards among the Western crusaders in Muslim countries as well, but there is no doubt that if such a story appeared about them, the military command would at least apologize to the people of that country and the guilty would be punished.
Does anyone think that anything will happen in this case? All this clearly shows who is fighting for Khalifa Haftar, who loudly declares that he is waging a «holy jihad» in Libya. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad, but now the question is not even about the «jihad», but rather whether Haftar and his followers, many of whom are followers of the Madkhali movement, including sheikhs, have even a shred of Muslim and basic human dignity.
If so, they should loudly condemn this sacrilege and demand an apology and punishment for those responsible. Otherwise, they will end up being no different from those who are fighting with them in the same ranks.
