When the current rulers of Russia came to the defense of the bloody madman Assad, many warned that they were thinking not so much about geopolitical interests, but about the need to protect their own power by any means necessary. «Bomb Voronezh» has long become a meme in connection with yet another absurd action of the authorities, worsening the situation for the Russians themselves. But those who look at things rationally understand that there is only a grain of truth in this joke. Just as Assad has bombed and poisoned Aleppo and dozens of other cities in Syria, his sponsors will not hesitate to do the same in Russia if necessary.
Another example emerged recently. «There is such a beautiful expression — ‘White Helmets’ — it suits you well,» Andrey Kozitsyn said to the residents of Sibay, who asked him uncomfortable questions. The residents found themselves in an ecological disaster zone due to the fault of the UGMK company, which he heads.
It should be recalled that the «White Helmets» is an organization of Syrian volunteer rescuers who provided emergency assistance to the victims of bombings and chemical attacks by the Assad regime and its Russian and Iranian backers. Thanks to them, thousands of photos and videos have been circulated documenting the war crimes against civilians committed by such attacks, as well as their numerous victims. For this reason, the White Helmets became a red flag for the Assad, Russian and Iranian military and propagandists, who persecuted them and continue to persecute them, trying to portray them as accomplices of terrorists and accusing the regime’s noble warriors of crimes they did not commit.
And now the Russians are called «White Helmets» when they declare that they are being poisoned, as is happening in Sibay. Earlier, addressing the discontented residents of Sibay, the city’s Gauleiter, Rustem Afzalov, called those who try to «rock the boat» «goats and excrement» and mocked them for turning to «the leader of our country» in connection with these events.
In short, we have a vivid demonstration of the fact that the troubles that tyrants bring to other countries in order to keep their colleagues in power eventually come back to haunt the citizens of those countries, who are treated in the same way by these tyrants.
