When «Voice of Islam» published news about the results of the investigation into the poisoning of Alexei Navalny, which it and Bellingcat conducted under the direction of Hristo Grozev (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=39421), not all readers understood what it had to do with Muslims.
In fact, it is long overdue to understand that in totalitarian regimes any news about political terror and repression affects everyone, and what happens today to one social group will happen tomorrow to another. However, as it turned out in this case, Navalny’s poisoning is directly related to Muslims in Russia. Specifically, the team of Navalny’s poisoners has a direct connection to them, as this investigation reveals that they have systematically and purposefully carried out similar eliminations of those who are disfavored by the current regime.
Hristo Grozev published a table of the travels of members of the chemical death squad in Russia (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15sc-1U-M2NF5iwN6aSwgF-6vqCH-BQs6eFPWoWh85VI/edit#gid=1281773408). It was found that the travels of some of them coincide in time and place with the mysterious deaths of at least two Muslim public figures.
First and foremost is the case of Timur Kuashev, who was first abducted and then found dead in Nalchik on August 1, 2014, with traces of injection. His case was first noisily placed under the special control of the Investigative Committee, but was later ignominiously closed (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=28722). It turned out that one of the «chemists» — Ivan Osipov — flew to Mineralnye Vody on July 22, 2014, and left on August 1, 2014, the same day Timur Kuashev’s body was discovered.
On March 24, 2015, Dagestani activist Ruslan Magomedragimov died under mysterious circumstances in Kaspiysk, Dagestan. According to the official conclusion, he died of heart failure, but his associate Albert Esedov, based on the results of the autopsy, claimed that Magomedragimov’s heart could not withstand external intervention. It turns out that the same «chemist» Osipov landed in Vladikavkaz a few days earlier, on March 20, and then flew back to Moscow on March 24, when the poison could have already been administered, since it was applied to Navalny’s belongings almost a day before the signs of poisoning became apparent.
Hristo Grozev has officially stated that his team is investigating the circumstances of the poisoning of Timur Kuashev, as well as opposition politicians Vladimir Kara-Murza, who was poisoned but saved, and Nikita Isaev, who died suddenly on a train «of heart failure» after he began actively criticizing the current government. In this regard, we would like to remind you that when we wrote about the possibility of poisoning not only these politicians, but also such diverse figures as the singer Decle, the priest Vsevolod Chaplin, and others, many dismissed it as a joke. However, given the circumstances that have come to light, there is much less to laugh about…
In conclusion, we would like to note that the poisoned Muslim public figures are only a small part of those who have fallen victim to extrajudicial reprisals. In 2017, the Voice of Islam team compiled a list of victims of state Islamophobic policies, which at the time did not include those who became victims in subsequent years (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=31080). When this work was just beginning, few hoped that one day the time would come to expose their murderers, which is the first step towards their future punishment. And now it can be said that this process has begun.
