Russia’s recent achievements under the leadership of its national leader are truly impressive. Not long ago, we wrote about the country’s demographic failure, which even pro-Kremlin media were forced to write about — after all, this is talk of a demographic crisis reversal, increasing birth rates, maternity capital, and so on.
Today, global and Russian media exploded with news that Russia has surpassed the rest of Europe and left it far behind. In the quality of health care and ecology? Life expectancy? Safety of citizens? Number of world-renowned universities? Of course not — in the number of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) cases.
According to the World Health Organization, of the 160,000 people infected with HIV in European countries, 104,000 live in Russia. This means that the spiritually and traditionally strong «Holy Rus» surpasses all the countries of «Euro-Sodom» and «Gayrope» combined, which account for only 30,000 infected persons (plus another 30,000 in Eastern European countries).
Currently, the infection rate in Russia is 71 cases per 100,000 people. In «Gayrope» and «Euro-Sodom» (countries in Western Europe), the average is 6.4 people per 100,000. But even in the neighboring Ukraine and Belarus, although significantly worse than in the West, it is still significantly better than in Russia, with 37 and 26.1 infected persons per 100,000 people, respectively.
But where do most of these infected people come from? Maybe it’s the result of medical errors in blood transfusions or negligence in cosmetic procedures like tattooing? No, 59% is a clear result of the strengthening of traditional family values by the alliance of the Chekists and the priests of the Russian Orthodox Church — that is, promiscuous and unprotected sexual relations. And another 30% is due to the use of reusable syringes for injecting drugs.
So spirituality is flourishing in Putin’s Russia. So is demography, education, health care, social security, and environmental protection. But Crimea and Syria belong to us. Well, now HIV is too.
