The Nazi regime of Ukraine has once again revealed its essence — this is how the Kremlin propaganda could present it, but even they will find it difficult now that the President of Ukraine, an ethnic Jew Vladimir Zelensky, has appointed the Crimean Tatar (Kyrymly) Rustem Umerov as Minister of Defense.
«So what, they found something to surprise multicultural Russia,» a patriot of the Russian world will object, «we also have a deputy defense minister, Ingush Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.» And other such cases come to mind — with all these Husnullins, Nurgaliyevs, etc., at the head of the Russophile structures.
But there is a difference in these cases. A fundamental one. All these Yevkurovs, Nurgaliyevs, Husnullins, Shoigus, etc., who were admitted to the Olympus of the Russian world — mancurts, either baptized themselves or married to Orthodox Christians, not practicing Islam, russified to the core and became carriers of the Russian world among their peoples, agents of their mancurization.
Rustem Umerov, on the other hand, rose from the ranks of the Crimean Tatar national movement, fought for the interests of his people in Ukrainian politics, and it was in this capacity that he proved to be in demand. Umerov is an advisor to the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people (of course, banned in Russia, and we note this not because of the requirements of its laws, but to emphasize that such an organization cannot exist in Russia) and a person who oversees the construction of the Crimean Tatar cultural center in Kyiv in cooperation with Turkey.
By the way, Umerov is not only a national activist, but also has a «Jamaat» background, albeit a specific one. Turkish media now write about him as a graduate of one of the schools of Hizmet Jamaat, which, however, did not prevent him from meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2019 and does not prevent him from interacting with Turkish authorities now.
And now imagine that at the head of the Ministry of Defense of Russia there is not a Russified person like Yevkurov, but a member of the national movement of some Muslim people, and even connected with an Islamic Jamaat that has complicated relations with the authorities, even of other countries. Can you imagine that? We cannot imagine such a thing.
As you are sure, all these «Muslim public figures» serving the Kremlin understand perfectly that no matter how loyal they may be, such a fate will never befall them in the Russian world. This is the obvious difference between «multinational» Russia, for which its Muslims are called to «wage jihad,» and «Nazi» Ukraine.
The only thing we want to point out here is that such opportunities for the Muslim community impose an enormous moral responsibility on it as a whole and on Rustem Umerov personally, who as its representative has taken over the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in such a difficult period. Because all possible mistakes and failures will now be associated not only with the Crimean Tatars, but also with Muslims and Islam. Therefore, let us wish Rustem Umerov to fulfill his mission worthily and bring the maximum benefit to his country, his religion and his people.
