The final court ban in Russia on the publication of the Sahih Bukhari Hadith collection, the second most important source of Islam, raises the rhetorical question that remains relevant — why do people who consider themselves Muslims fight on the side of Russia?
The state of Islam and conscious Muslims in Russia before the war is one question. It was not a secret for those with sense, but either ignorant people or complete scoundrels claimed that this war would change that and improve the position of Islam and Muslims in the country.
Even from a purely propagandistic point of view, the Chekist Orthodox Mafia regime could have played into their hands in order to better mobilize Muslims for the war. After all, there is a shortage of cannon fodder, people in the big cities are not complete fools to go to this war, the Russian countryside has degenerated and deteriorated, and therefore more and more fertile and resourceful nationalist men who have not yet been crushed in the «Russian world» are dying for the Empire.
It is difficult to overestimate the importance of ethnic Muslims in this matter. In similar circumstances, when his Tatar Empire was hanging by a thread, the madman and murderer Stalin had enough brains to symbolically change his wartime policies to make it easier to deceive the sub-Soviet people and drive them to fight «For the Motherland, For Stalin». Therefore, churches and mosques were no longer closed, and pocket priests and mullahs called for a «holy war» and a «jihad» for the atheistic state, which began to present itself as «national».
Of course, after the war, the Moor did his job and the Moor had to leave, so everything gradually returned to square one, and the religious people once again felt the true attitude of the regime towards them. In the end, they were able to say and admit that they had been deceived, and fortunately at that time there was no Internet or other readily available information that would have allowed them to understand in advance that this deception was inevitable.
However, Russian Muslims, namely those who are «For Russia», can no longer say that their hopes were betrayed. For two reasons. First, by the time the war began, at least the educated among them had access to the Internet and a sufficient amount of information about the history and politics of this country, which allowed them to clearly understand what its attitude toward them was and would be. Second, unlike then, they don’t even need to be deceived, and the authorities don’t plan to do so. They continue to ban Muslim holy places, just as they did before, and they continue to wage war against Islamic ideology, just as they did before.
There is an answer to the question of why they behave this way — because they know that Russian Muslims are obedient and will serve and sacrifice for them no matter how badly they are treated. However, there is no answer to the question of why they behave this way, or what they are fighting for, if we assume that they are not fighting for money, but for certain ideas related to Islam, as they claim. This is a real mystery.
