Alternative for Germany (AfD) — a growing populist party usually characterized as anti-Islam, anti-immigrant and nationalist. There is no doubt about its anti-Islam stance, but the extent to which this party can be called a German nationalist party, based on German identity and even immigration, is becoming more and more of an open question.
Recently, the party has increasingly nominated immigrants, rather than native Germans, to run in various elections. For example, Leyla Bilge or Kevork Almasyan. Well, with Almasyan Muslims should in principle not expect anything good, which does not mean that people with such surnames cannot have a neutral or friendly attitude towards Muslims or even be Muslims themselves. But in this case, even the surname and ethnic background of the newly minted «German nationalist» are not as interesting as his political beliefs and connections. Almasyan, who comes from Syria, is an ardent supporter of dictator Bashar al-Assad and is most likely connected to his special services, whose various activities in Germany and Europe we have previously written about and which have been reported by the German intelligence services themselves.
And what about Leyla? Is she of Kurdish origin? She builds her political image on the fact that she is a former Muslim and a «liberated woman of the East» who became such in the West. And accordingly, she now wants to «protect» her and her «freedom» from Islam. These are the people who today represent and defend the identity of the German people.
And one of the leaders of this party is Alice Weidel — an open lesbian, whose partner, by the way, is in no way associated with the image of traditional Germany. Such people are increasingly becoming the face of this party today. And people like its former member Arthur Wagner, an ethnic German from Russia and a true German conservative and nationalist, on the contrary, leave its ranks and… convert to Islam.
Let’s hope that after them more and more sane Germans will begin to realize what is the true alternative for Germany and what is the path to the abyss.
