Allah speaks in the Qur’an about the Muslims who were forced by the polytheists to fight for them and died, justifying themselves by saying that they had nowhere to emigrate to (Translation of Meanings, Surah 4, verse 97): «Those whom the angels take to death [while] wronging themselves — [the angels] will say, ‘In what [state] were you?’ They will say: ‘We were oppressed in the land.’ The angels will say: ‘Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein? For such, their refuge is Hell, and their goal is Evil. Dear brothers, save your precious life, which Allah has given you for worship, and above all, save your eternal life, and leave Russia as soon as possible. And may Allah help you.
