Dagestan: What does resistance look like now?

Not so long ago, resistance in Dagestan was mainly a matter of men. Some tried to eradicate evil with violence, others with words, like Hadjimurat Kamalov, Ahmednabi Ahmednabiyev, and many others. During the years of Putinism, most of them were killed, some were imprisoned, and others were expelled from the country.

And now, spontaneously, Dagestani girls find themselves at the forefront of the resistance. They are clearly not affiliated with any jamaat and may not have received sufficient Islamic education. But they have the conscience and courage not to remain silent when «donkeys loaded with books» in the form of so-called muftis and imams do so. Their Islamic knowledge not only does not give them the determination to speak the truth, but also does not prevent them from spreading propaganda about the «jihad» that the Kremlin is waging in Ukraine.

Such an act was committed by Zuhra Alibekova, a schoolgirl from Izberbash in Dagestan, who shouted, «No war, freedom for Ukraine, Putin is the devil!» Yes, the girl has already been forced to apologize and even claimed that she did it as a challenge to her classmates. But in any case, may Allah reward her for her courageous act and grant mercy to those men who have brought the situation to the point where such girls have to take the forefront of resistance.

As for the legend about the fight with the classmates, if it is true, then one can only be glad that children discuss such things and have a demand for such actions, even under conditions of brainwashing. So, let’s remember this name — Zuhra Alibekova from Izberbash. One day, when those who today praise Putin and his criminal policies start to say that they were actually against it, but were forced to do it, we should know the names of people who really kept their conscience. And whom we can trust with the affairs of society, so that history does not repeat itself.
