Gay in a conservative shell or Yanopulos’ tour through Germany?!

As part of the campaign for the European Parliament elections, the well-known American troll Milo Yiannopoulos, who we have written about before, visited Germany. Yiannopoulos is traveling around Europe as a representative of the British candidate for the European Parliament, Karl Benjamin, who is a staunch supporter of Britain’s exit from the EU. This is paradoxical because the first person in this duo is not legally a European, and the second does not want to be, yet both travel around the EU spreading their views. Moreover, this is far from the only paradox in this story.

We would not have paid much attention to this story and would not have dedicated it to our readers had it not been for the enthusiastic coverage of this visit by our old «friends». We are talking about bloggers and journalists associated with Russia Today and living in Germany, known as «Russian Jews,» who promote far-right Western politicians on the Russian Internet. We want to make it clear that we have nothing against Russian Jews, including those living in Germany. However, the situation where they become the main mouthpieces for politicians who position themselves as extreme right-wing is, in our old-fashioned taste, rather strange for both sides.

Today we are going to talk about Yiannopoulos’ famous speech to members of the German parliament from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, about which we have written before and will continue to do so. In order to refute the thesis of the main character of this report that he is feared and silenced by all his opponents, we will provide a link to the full text of his speech for English-speaking readers, which we will comment on below in Russian.

First of all, for anyone who knows the real challenges faced by people who challenge the system, it is comical to see this theatrical representative of sexual minorities portray himself as the most dangerous person on the planet. Reading the epithets with which he characterizes himself, one might think he was referring to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi or Ayman al-Zawahiri or even Anwar al-Awlaki, an American citizen killed by a drone strike on the personal orders of President Obama (Trump’s predecessor, by the way), whose 16-year-old son was also killed in a raid by US special forces. Or at least to the dozens and dozens of Muslims, for example in Russia, who did not come close to weapons, but were killed by death squads or imprisoned for many years simply for their preaching activities or their membership in organizations that operate freely in the West.

For about half of his speech, Yiannopoulos talks about being «the most maligned and censored person on the planet» and the incredible suffering he endures in his uphill battle against Islam and political correctness, which he equates. But what kind of suffering? Has he been tortured? Or simply imprisoned? Or forced to leave his country, pushed into the unknown and forced to start from scratch, as happens to many who are truly victims of political repression? Oh no, all they will do is delete his accounts on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as hundreds of bloggers with different beliefs are subjected to for different reasons. In addition, several financial companies that he used for fundraising have denied him their services — thousands of people arbitrarily included in Rosfinmonitoring’s list of extremists and terrorists in Russia cannot make any non-cash payments, but no one talks about them in the same tone, including the bloggers associated with RT who promote Yiannopoulos. Similarly, the president of the United States, whose election Yiannopoulos proudly claims as his own, has banned millions of people from entering the country simply because they were born in certain countries. Unlike them, Yiannopoulos has been denied an entry visa to Australia — a denial based on his actions that could harm the peace and security of that country, which is a commonplace, ordinary practice, but which he portrays as tremendous persecution and suffering.

But let’s get to the substance of his speech. Yiannopoulos claims that he «helped conservatives in America win the cultural war for the younger generation…by making conservatism cool after decades in which it was difficult to be conservative.» But what conservatism is he referring to, and at what cost has he achieved such success? Yiannopoulos himself says: «I am married (or married — the English word ‘married’ does not convey this nuance, but judging by his appearance, it is more likely the latter — ed.) to a black man. A few decades ago in the U.S., where the term «conservative» was synonymous with a person who adhered to biblical values, it was unthinkable for someone in such a relationship, which the Bible considers sodomy, to identify as a conservative. It is completely understandable and natural that this category of people was repelled by conservatism and forced to make a choice (for example, Vice President of the United States Mike Pence admits that he underwent treatment to overcome such tendencies). Today, however, Yiannopoulos himself and people like him have become «conservatives» in mass. But have they, like Pence, overcome what is incompatible with conservatism? No, on the contrary, they have robbed conservatism of what made it conservative, forcing conservatives to be tolerant of what has always been considered unacceptable in the Christian coordinate system. But not content with what has been achieved, Yiannopoulos is now positioning himself as «holier than the Pope,» placing himself above tens of thousands of ordinary Christians in Berlin while attempting to belittle Muslims.

«Today I am a respected and healthy Christian, which makes me as rare in Berlin as a 14-year-old virgin in Damascus,» he says, and this statement is perhaps the quintessence of his «Christianity» and «conservatism. If this person, who is «married to a black man», is concerned about the early age of sexual activity (while he himself was fired from Breitbart for pedophile revelations), he should be interested in the age at which this happens today in post-Christian countries within the framework of so-called «free relationships». But this «Christian» and «conservative» is only concerned that in Muslim countries girls can enter into marriage at this age, which was the norm for Europe when it was truly Christian and conservative. However, as part of his distortion of concepts, this «conservative» ends up doing what he came to Germany to do — attack the truly conservative part of its population, which is largely Muslim. «Ask your children about the Turkish children they go to school with… do they believe in evolution?» The supporter of a politician who was elected president by millions of votes of those who not only do not believe in evolution, but also fight for the right to study according to school programs based on biblical creationism, is trying to expose «reactionary» Muslims.

Seriously? Where can we find more information about the daily attacks by 4 million German Turks on gays and Jews, including attacks on gay clubs and synagogues? Surely there are no more such attacks than there are attacks on women wearing hijabs or on mosques and Islamic centers in Germany. And this liar cannot be unaware of this, but he tries to portray the danger Muslims pose to gays simply as their unwillingness to accept the same totalitarian ideology he speaks out against while being a part of it. Namely, gender ideology, the idea that the choice of sexual orientation and even gender should be free and individual, rather than imposed from childhood. However, the fake conservative cannot fail to notice that it is the Muslims in Europe, in the face of the capitulation of «Christian conservatism» to people like him, who are currently holding the front lines of genuine conservative values.

That is why he speaks of the «Axis Powers» as an evil of which the Islamic Ummah is a part and, for some reason, Silicon Valley and the EU. What they all have in common is a great mystery, but this storyteller’s audience is unlikely to ask such questions. However, some do ask — like the former leader of the Falkensee branch of the Alternative for Germany, Arthur Wagner, who realized that a real conservative has nothing to do with these fake conservatives and made a decision in favor of the system, which Yiannopoulos and Co. cannot bend to their will.
