The story of the murder of a young woman by her fellow traveler, found through the BlaBlaCar service, has been in the spotlight for millions of Russians in recent weeks and is instructive in many ways. The BlaBlaCar service allows registered users to find either shared transportation or fellow travelers, thereby saving money either on the road or on fuel. This is what 29-year-old Irina Akhmatova, a manager of two Burger King restaurants in Moscow, decided to do when she drove an Audi to Tula. She planned to take along two passengers, including a man, each of whom was supposed to pay her 700 rubles for the trip. However, in the end, the traveler did not show up, and instead a man appeared who did not match the photo and information provided by the BlaBlaCar service. He then decided to rob and kill the woman along the way, disposing of her body, but was caught a few days later and confessed to everything.
Stories like this always illustrate the wisdom of Sharia — the laws of the Lord of the Worlds. No, we are not in any way saying that women like this one, who have shown carelessness or naivety towards unknown men, deserve to be killed, raped, and so on. Those who commit such crimes are criminals, regardless of the behavior and appearance of their victims, which are in no way mitigating factors for them. But the highest wisdom lies in protecting women from such villains and their evil, which includes not being alone with unknown men, as the Sharia prescribes (and vice versa).
Of course, there are extenuating circumstances, such as threats to life and safety, when exceptions can be made to this rule. But in this case, the opposite was true — the woman initially risked her life to save money on fuel. Especially after she took an unknown man as a passenger, despite the absence of a second passenger and his lack of resemblance to the photo registered in the service.
However, the personality of the killer in this case is no less revealing. 39-year-old Vitaly Chikirev (in the photo) turned out to be not only a repeat rapist, but also a professional «defender of Russia». He served in the Skif special forces unit and later in Moscow’s OMON, and repeatedly made «business trips» to Chechnya. In addition, he is a member of the organization «Combat Brotherhood», which actively fights against numerous «enemies of Russia» for the «Russian world», etc. It is well known that there have been numerous cases of veterans of the Chechen, Donbass and Syrian conflicts who, upon returning to their homeland, committed bloody, heinous crimes, including against women and children (sometimes even their own). It is also indicative of the cases of their like-minded supporters who go on killing sprees, as happened in Kerch with Vladislav Roslyakov, who shot several dozen of his fellow students at the college.
In other words, we are dealing with a whole category of people (?) who, having demonstrated their sadistic tendencies in places where they can kill, torture, rape, etc. with impunity, then begin to do the same to their fellow citizens, compatriots, and sometimes even relatives.
Yet no one declares this category a threat to public safety. No one puts them on a preventive register, monitors their movements, interrogates them at airports, etc. All this is done by their colleagues, some of whom are clearly going to join their ranks (and others have already done so) while on duty, against peaceful Muslims or other citizens who have only expressed their critical views of the authorities somewhere on the Internet.
