Imam Shamil: Parasites on His Name and His Followers?

The adoption of amendments to the constitution of Dagestan, which removes the obligation of its head to protect the territorial integrity of the republic, and the passions that arose around it, have once again highlighted an important question. And this question is not about how the Kremlin will redraw the borders between the so-called republics of the so-called Russian Federation tomorrow, or even whether it will abolish them tomorrow. In principle, it has long been time to understand that there are no federations, republics, or constitutions in Russia. There are only curtains covering the reality of the boss and his deputies on the one hand, and obedient slaves on the other. They do not even have the right to vote, let alone the sovereignty once proclaimed in all these republican constitutions.

The main question in this situation are the collaborators and manipulators who are working to prevent their people from realizing this reality and remaining prisoners of illusions. Illusions that there are some constitutions, federations, and that there is something like Dagestan or Chechnya, and that one threatens the other or vice versa.

A separate issue in this whole story is the use of the image of Imam Shamil, may Allah have mercy on him, by villains for purposes that are completely contrary to what he fought for. Recently, this was done to encourage Dagestani men to become cannon fodder for the empire against which he fought. And now Imam Shamil, as the defender of Dagestan, is being compared to Melikhov, the Moscow colonial governor! First of all, this was done to force Melikhov to be the defender of Dagestan’s integrity, and then, when these amendments were adopted with his consent, to prove that he would defend Dagestan in spite of them.

So, tomorrow in Ukraine there will be a conference where the creation of the Dagestani and Chechen resistance of the Caucasus Center will be announced and its plans will be revealed. First of all, it will focus on de-occupation, which is a prerequisite, without which it is simply meaningless to talk about the future of the Caucasus.

But no less important is the fact that a platform will be created, the creation of which we have been demanding for a long time — a platform for dialogue between representatives of different nations of the Caucasus, where they could discuss their relations and possible solutions to problematic issues. Because if we do not start this now, tomorrow, when the Kremlin’s power suddenly falls and these problems come to the surface, it will be too late, because they can divide the Caucasians at the moment when their unity is vital.

Therefore, we call upon our readers, and through them upon the rest of our brothers in the Caucasus or from the Caucasus, to begin to approach problems such as these changes and possible restructuring of territories only from this perspective. It is time to understand that it doesn’t matter at all what will be written tomorrow on one or another meaningless piece of paper, or what Russian flags will be hung over the administration of one or another settlement. What is important is to get rid of all this reality and prepare to solve these problems ourselves, fraternally and justly.
