In the name of Allah! The protest movement in Dagestan has shown that it has great potential. But now comes the moment when it can fall victim to the same things that have happened to other spontaneous uprisings in Muslim countries.
The Internet, networks have a great advantage in organizing such rallies with a multitude of people who do not belong to any organization, who are on the same wavelength and begin to interact spontaneously. But there comes a point when this format turns from an advantage to a disadvantage.
It is important to understand that there will inevitably be differences of opinion in any environment. This is natural and even productive, since unity is often the result of thoughtlessness, lack of strong personalities and initiative. Therefore, the fact that there are people with different approaches within the protest and among its inspirers indicates the presence of strong personalities, which is a factor of success.
However, it is very important how these differences are identified and resolved, and what follows from them… Brothers and sisters, have you forgotten the example of Syria, where, as the uprising developed, different approaches emerged that did not try to merge into one? And at first it seemed harmless — next to the Syrian Salvation Army someone created a katiba, then another, then a jabbha appeared, then another, and so on.
But then it turned out that due to the lack of unity and coordination, destructive forces entered the situation and either out of stupidity or at the behest of external actors, they divided and discredited the resistance, exposing it to complete defeat. Islam requires leadership for any effort, especially one like this.
And understanding the peculiarities of the situation and the completely different internal and external conditions, we are not saying that we need to create a shura of scholars and military emirs who will elect an amir and start bringing him bayats. We have already experienced that, and we understand very well that it will not work now, and anyone who would do that would be betraying everyone.
But in essence, this is exactly what is needed, embodied in forms appropriate to the place and time. There are now dozens of channels — mass coordinators who coordinate and influence the resistance. And the fact that their leaders are in different places does not matter, because there are secure chats, conferences on certain platforms, and so on.
Brothers and sisters from Dagestan and the Caucasus as a whole, who have authority and influence in the process — create some kind of council of the Caucasian (or first of all Dagestani) civil resistance, which would include all the main people of this kind, so that all the important discussions and identification of differences in approaches, methods and goals would take place on this basis, after which a consolidated decision would be made.
If you do not do this, the shaytans among the jinns and human beings will definitely begin to drive you apart and divide your ranks. If you do it, you will deprive them of the most important means to do it. It is time to unite, brothers and sisters, it is time to take leadership and responsibility!
