Is it not worth hoping for a foam: on demography and politics?

Among Muslim commentators and bloggers in Russia, and even among some of their expatriates, there was a small revival last week. The reason is the demographic news. Many were pleased with the forecast of demographers from the Higher School of Economics, according to which the only way for Russia to prevent a double decline in its population by 2010 is to attract 390 thousand to 1.1 million migrants annually. Some Muslim bloggers drew the same conclusion as paranoid anti-Islamic ones — the Islamization of Russia is inevitable in such a case. Or, to paraphrase the words of Russia’s «great helmsman,» whether you like it or not, Russia will become more Muslim.

It seems that when for several decades such stories were fed to the Muslims of Russia by the muftiats and their entourage, and as a result we ended up in a situation where in a city with millions of Muslims it is not allowed to build a mosque near a certain pond, but after Jumu’ah prayers they recruit Muslims to die for the «Russian world» in mosques, calling it Jihad, there should have been enough reasons to understand that all this, as our Dagestani brothers say, is nonsense.

The Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and salute him, predicted that there will come times when Muslims will be helpless before their enemies who attack them, and at that moment Muslims will be numerous, but they will be like foam whipped up by the waves of the sea. And this is exactly what we see in Russia, where the increase in the number of people with Muslim features does not lead to an increase in their influence on the country’s politics, but at most to the fact that cannon fodder, used as such by the Orthodox-Russian world crusaders, is labeled «halal», whether in the form of crescent-shaped graves in «Wagner» cemeteries or the distribution of brochures among them, a photo of which is shown above.

We want to disappoint, but in fact we only want to warn those who are in captivity of such demographic illusions. The number of a certain population plays a decisive role only in democratic systems, where it is possible to create parties representing the interests of different social groups, and the one that represents the interests of the majority comes to power. But there is no such thing in Russia, where there is a «strong hand» and its unlimited and endless power, which the Russian muftiats have accepted, justifying it with the fact that otherwise fitna will begin, the country will collapse, gay parades will begin, and so on.

In dictatorships, it is not the majority of the voters that determines the power, but the power that has the ability to manipulate and shape the population, imposing the will of the minority on the majority, either explicitly or covertly. What we see now in these pamphlets distributed in Russian mosques is an example of this. At the same time, the experts involved in the production of such noodles for Muslim ears, on the air with outspoken Islamophobes, do not even hide their mocking attitude toward the stupidity of those who consume it and the unprincipled nature of their agents from various muftis and imams through whom they distribute it. And now let’s ask ourselves the question — what will fundamentally change if tomorrow the number of those who are fed this noodle and through whom it is done is doubled compared to today?

Obviously, in such a scenario, little will fundamentally change.

Not to mention the fact that the reason for believing that the increasing migration to Russia predicted by various demographers can only be Muslim is completely unclear.

After all, for Putin’s Russia, the main strategic ally, practically the patron, is China, and its demographic potential, if the right decisions are made, will easily overcome the potential of Muslim emigration from the same Central Asia, which is by no means unlimited.

Moreover, history provides many examples of how the demographic structure of the population changed dramatically and almost instantly when it became necessary for a totalitarian state.

Should we recall how, under Stalin, entire Muslim peoples were deported from the Caucasus or Crimea?

And they managed to return, not immediately and not easily, only because there was a change of power in the Kremlin.

And now imagine that next time this may not happen and the elimination of Muslims will continue until their goals are achieved.

Therefore, it is not worth relying on quantity where it does not solve anything.

Foam is just foam, no matter how much there is.

And before you bet on population growth, you have to get rights and guarantees for those whose numbers you want to multiply — to make sure you’re not multiplying cattle to be sheared and slaughtered.
