Kazakhstan-Russia: Economy and Terrorism?

Just a few weeks ago, there was a demonstrative move by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan at the meeting of the Russian establishment in St. Petersburg (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=40788). And now it is obvious that relations between the two states are going downhill.

In fact, in the last 24 hours:

— President Tokayev announced his readiness to compensate Europe for the shortage of Russian oil with supplies from Kazakhstan;
— The court in the city of Novorossiysk, Russia, decided to suspend for 30 days the work of the Caspian Labor Consortium, through which the transit of Kazakh oil to Europe took place;
— President Tokayev instructed the Kazakh company «KazMunayGas» to work out routes for the delivery of Kazakh oil to Europe, bypassing Russia;
— Finally, against this backdrop, a gas well exploded in the Zhylyoysky district of Kazakhstan. «Coincidence? I don’t think so.»

If taken seriously, the last incident deserves special attention. Of course, pipes regularly catch fire and explode in many places. But it is hard to believe in the coincidence of such an explosion against this background. And if it is not a coincidence, it suggests that Moscow will not limit itself to legal prohibitions and measures of economic influence to counter Kazakhstan’s unfavorable policies. This is not surprising, considering that Putin’s Russia has long since turned into a terrorist state and is perceived as such by many in the world.

In this case, when planning an unfavorable economic policy, the leadership of Kazakhstan must immediately think about how to ensure security from Russian terrorist attacks and sabotage, both in terms of supply routes and their own well-being and state.
