While subordinates of Ramzan Kadyrov were posing with weapons in the destroyed Mariupol, Marat Khusnullin, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation of Tatar nationality, arrived to «restore» and «integrate into Russia» the captured Zaporizhzhya region. He declared that «Russia intends to restore all liberated territories» and is currently calculating the amount of funds needed for this.
And one can imagine what the cost of restoring all that was destroyed will be, if one remembers the cost of restoring Chechnya, which was barbarously destroyed by Russia itself, and which is several times smaller in size than the seized parts of Ukraine. Moreover, it must be understood that this «restoration» in the present does not exempt Russia from the obligation to pay reparations to Ukraine in the future, the amount of which will certainly not be less. Then there are the costs of the war, which is far from over. And colossal losses due to sanctions. And all this «pleasure» will be at the expense of the Russian common man, from whose pockets they will take everything. But that is not what we are talking about now.
Just yesterday we commemorated the anniversary of the tragedy of the Crimean Tatar people and wrote about how it continues to this day (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=40697). And on the very same day, the Volga Tatar Marat Khusnullin arrives to «organize» the territories conquered by the Russian Empire. Someone might think, and some pro-Kremlin «Muslim bloggers» might even have enough «sense» to say (following the Russian proverb «what a sober person thinks, a drunk person says»), that this is an example of how wrong the Crimean Tatars’ strategy was to oppose Russia, and how successful the Volga Tatars’ strategy was to find a niche in it. And they would be wrong, as the latest data from Tatarstan on the OGE (Main State Examination), which, unlike the Unified State Examination (USE), is conducted at the regional level, show.
Incidentally, much has been said, and rightly so, about the discriminatory nature of the USE, which must be taken in Russian and cannot be taken in the second official languages of the Russian republics, thus depriving their speakers of the opportunity to receive higher education and thus to develop fully in their careers. But now the OGE is taken at the regional level, and there you can choose subjects in your native language and literature. And what do we see in Tatarstan, which is held up as an example of the successful integration of a non-Russian nation into the «Russian world»? Only 3.8% of students chose the Tatar language for the exam, and no one, I repeat, no one chose Tatar literature for the OGE.
Here is a vivid example of what kind of future these Khusnullins, Nabiyullins and other «useful idiots» of the Russian world are building for their own people with their own hands. And this, despite the fact that the situation with the national language among Tatars in Tatarstan is considered one of the best in comparison with the titular peoples of other Russian republics. What can we say about others? Yes, in general there is no need to say much — everything is already clear. But that is why it is necessary to understand that there are no greater enemies of the nations occupied by the Empire than its high-ranking representatives from among them, whom many of their compatriots call «their people» out of habit. They really are «their people», but not for the Tatars and other indigenous peoples, but for those who want to dissolve and mix them all into one building mix in the concrete mixer of the «Russian world». This, by the way, also concerns the Russians, whose language and culture are theoretically used for this purpose.
