However, when talking about Xi Jinping’s relations with Russia, it is now unnecessary to add that he is the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, and he can be called Chairman in Russia, just as he is called Chairman in China. In fact, this visit clearly showed that he is now the leader of both countries. This was evident in the way he was received, the submissive attitude of Russian officials toward him, and the general mood of pro-Kremlin figures who spoke and wrote openly about Russia’s correct choice to become a vassal of China and how Putin, by making it so, is making the same choice as Alexander Nevsky.
And finally, the Russian state media company VGTRK, which broadcasts quotes from Xi Jinping on Russian television, leaves no doubt as to who is now the true leader of this country. The consequences of becoming a vassal of Communist China are clear to Russians in general and Muslims in Russia in particular.
The question is, how soon will we see photos and videos of Russian «Muslim activists» from their tour of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (occupied Uighurstan), where they will talk about how happily the local Muslims live under the rule of the wise chairman? We have already witnessed their visits to areas controlled by the Assad regime, with reports conveying a similar message. We have also witnessed their visits to Mariupol, which has been devastated by Russian artillery.
Moreover, if the first visitors at least presented themselves as humanitarian aid distributors, the respected Mukaddas Bibarsov recently spoke from there about the «liberation» of Mariupol (https://golosislama.com/news.php?id=41497). Well, if Mariupol is «liberated,» then perhaps it is now possible to talk about how freely and happily the Uyghur Muslims live under the rule of the Chairman. How soon can we expect similar official visits of Russian «Muslim activists» to their own metropolis?
